Educational Outreach
As part of its mission, the Association seeks to instill an appreciation of music in the school-age population of this area. To do so, we offer three concerts a year to 3rd and 4th grade students from local schools. If requested, students from other grades are admitted as well. The concerts are presented by the same groups that play for the adult audience, and they usually involve some questions and answers between the students and the performing artists.

- Butch Thompson Trio on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at 12:00 noon
- Nube on Thursday, February 25, 2010
- Hunt Family Fiddlers on Thursday, May 13, 2010
All Educational Outreach performances are at 10:30 a.m. (unless otherwise indicated) in the WNMU Fine Arts Center Theater.
Educational Outreach performances are free of charge and the Association pays the transportation costs for students coming from their schools by school bus to the theater.
