Posted 8/20/11: NASHVILLE CONFERENCE. The Nashville Live on Stage conference, which brought together about 400 delegates of community concert associations from around the country, and which was attended by six GCCCA board members was a great success. Our delegation saw wonderful showcase performances by many artists and came away confident that the board will be able to select another program of outstanding concerts for the 2012-13 season.
Our delegation will also bring back useful information from the workshops which were held as part of the conference.
The pictures at left show Betsy and Bill Evatt, and Pat Falley (Peter took the pictures) and Carol and Mick Coon at the dinner which concluded the conference.
As usual, the Association paid only for the registrations fees for the conference. Travel and room and board expenses were borne by the delegates.
