About the Association
The Grant County Community Concert Association (GCCCA) is a civic, charitable/educational organization which seeks to strengthen the cultural life of the southern New Mexico region by offering live concerts by nationally and internationally known artists. We also seek to instill an appreciation of music in the school age population of this region through educational outreach concerts offered by some of the same groups brought here to entertain the adult audience.
GCCCA is entirely a volunteer organization, which means that it can devote virtually all of its income to presenting first-rate concerts to our audience. See income/expense graphics.
The Association is based in Silver City, a center of cultural activity and outdoor recreation in southwestern New Mexico.
We have a reciprocity arrangements with several other concert associations under which our members can attend their concerts free of charge simply by showing the reciprocity card they get with their GCCCA tickets.
